Asto Japan Vocational School offers various courses for learners who are interested in studying the Japanese language. Our courses are designed to help learners achieve their language goals in an efficient and effective way.
Japanese Language N5
Our N5 course is a two-month program that is designed to prepare students to take the JLPT N5 exam. This course covers basic Japanese grammar, vocabulary, and kanji, as well as the reading, writing, and listening skills needed to pass the exam. Students are required to purchase the N5 textbook, which is priced at 2000 LKR.
Japanese Language N4
Our N4 course is also a two-month program that is designed to prepare students for the JLPT N4 exam. This course covers intermediate Japanese grammar, vocabulary, and kanji, as well as the reading, writing, and listening skills needed to pass the exam. Students are required to purchase the N4 textbook, which is priced at 2000 LKR.
Japanese Language N3
The N3 course is an intermediate level Japanese language course offered at ASTO Japan Vocational School. It is designed for students who have completed the N4 course or who have equivalent knowledge of the Japanese language.
The course duration is two months, during which students will learn advanced grammar structures and vocabulary, and further develop their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. The N3 course is focused on the development of practical communication skills, and students will learn how to express themselves in more complex and sophisticated ways.
In addition to classroom instruction, students will be provided with various opportunities to practice their Japanese language skills, such as group discussions, presentations, and role-playing exercises. They will also be given regular homework assignments, quizzes and tests to evaluate their progress.
The course textbook for the N3 course is available at the ASTO Japan Vocational School bookshop at a cost of 2500 LKR (Lankan Rupees). The textbook covers all the necessary grammar structures, vocabulary and kanji (Chinese characters) needed for the N3 level of proficiency in Japanese.
Upon successful completion of the N3 course, students will have the necessary skills to communicate effectively in a wider range of situations, and they will be well-prepared to take the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N3 exam.
Vocational
Vocational courses
ASTO Japan Vocational School also offers a Vocational course in Nursing care (caregiver) for a duration of one month. This course is designed to provide the necessary skills and knowledge for those who are interested in working as caregivers in the healthcare industry. The course covers topics such as basic nursing care skills, infection control, nutrition, and patient safety.
We also offer Hotel and Food Service courses for those who are interested in pursuing a career in the hospitality industry. The course duration is two months and covers various topics such as food and beverage service, front desk operations, housekeeping, and hotel management.
In addition, we are working to introduce a construction vocational course soon. This course will cover topics such as construction safety, blueprint reading, project management, and building materials. We are committed to providing our students with the best vocational training and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
